PARTICIPATION & EDITORIAL STANDARDS
A public challenge.
A civil conversation.
Updated October 14, 2026.
Taking part
Participation is voluntary. Wear a white baseball cap featuring an American flag and share one change you would make for a better America if you were king or queen for a day. The premise is satire. Post on your own social media account using #WhiteHatChallenge and a link to this website.
You choose your own ideas. No party or candidate endorsement is required. Keep your contribution peaceful, constructive and respectful. Do not threaten or harass anyone. Clearly distinguish satire, opinion and factual allegations.
Your draft and your post
The caption builder prepares text in your browser. It does not submit or save your draft to this website. Copy caption places the text on your clipboard when your browser permits it. Share caption opens your device’s sharing menu where available; otherwise it attempts to copy the caption. Nothing is posted automatically.
This site does not accept video uploads or collect entries for the challenge. You control whether and where you publish your video. Your chosen social media service applies its own terms and privacy practices. The site’s hosting provider may process ordinary access logs to operate the website.
Evidence and attribution
The briefing identifies official records, investigative reporting, responses and the committee’s position. Allegations and oversight requests are not presented as court findings. Article links allow readers to examine the original context. Some publishers may require a subscription.
Links to The New York Times, ICIJ, Reuters, other publishers and public offices are provided for verification. They do not imply endorsement or affiliation. Summaries reflect the sources reviewed as of the date shown; later developments may change the record.
Ownership and company terms
The White Hat Challenge is owned and operated by Generic User Acquisition Organization, LLC, a New York limited liability company, and is sponsored by Kashogi.com.
The existing company Terms of Service are preserved separately. They describe Kashogi’s services and state that reading the site alone does not constitute acceptance. This participation page does not amend those terms or require acceptance of them to read the briefing.
